Yeah, I agree, but since it hosts a huge amount of work done by many of us, maybe that's why it was used as one of the sources.

Hosting and public are different. This measure is like saying unless you are painting public murals you haven't made real art. The take is just so wrong it's hard to know where to start.

I enjoyed reading it. But the big problem is always going to be how to fund everything from the start without any return while living on a low salary :*(

Looking for an alternative to HN, I decided to spend 6 months writing some code and got my first result, which is how https://comuniq.xyz was born. It's nothing compared to the power of Hacker News, but it could become an alternative. To make it stand out, I added notifications, Markdown text styling, and a layout that the community there says is pretty nice.

Believe me! It shouldn't take long. There's a whole team giving it their all to make this happen as fast as possible.

I'd like to congratulate the company on the excellent products and services they've provided and the security they offer.

They've been improving it to take down Claude.

Wasn't directed at you in particular, but quoted Reuters. Edited to reflect that.

automating this would be too complicated; getting feedback from a large number of users would provide more certainty

thank you, I wanted to edit the link but I couldn't anymore

I don't think it would get much of a response from the public, even if it did exist.

Everyone's focused on the "IAs"

If it receive enough ppl to matter it would be overrun by the "IAs" for spam

Imo only thing really is small groups if you want human's remaining.

not the link, but rather the number of characters HN allows per post
