I wanted to share that an app I’ve been working on, Manifest (https://onmanifest.com), is now approved and available on the App Store & Google Play!

What is it?

The Manifest app enables effective local communications to keep people up to date about what's happening locally. It is a new messaging app for sharing ideas, receiving instant feedback, and creating connections in the local area anywhere in the world!

There are so many steps to joining a club, promoting events, and emailing groups—Manifest was created to unify these activities on a local platform.

I had an idea to build out a system for sharing ideas locally and starting simple group chats. This web app (working only on desktop rn), Manifest, needs permissions to acquire location, then it displays a feed of posts from that area (most likely empty in your area right now as it is a relatively new app). Once a post is made, it allows you to join a group chat discussing that post. Eventually it may be worth it to publish group chat conversations as a "manifest". It's still in the demo stage with a lot of filler text; a lot of buttons may not be working.
