I am from India and have friends who are immigrants from Russia, China and Cuba. We don't take lightly to being lectured about communism. We didn't move to the U.S., the bastion of capitalism, because communism had worked well for our grandfathers and parents and continues to do wonders for its society.

It must be hard to remain sane, let alone happy, after 2 terms of Donald Trump.

I don’t think this discussion is complete without mentioning Trump, if not as an outright cause, at least a symbol and a symptom.

In what other language is MVT offered other than Python? That seems like a good example of unique language specialization and not reflective of a Ruby gap relative to any other language. I also don't think that's something you'd bundle & reuse in another offering. In my opinion that's the primary value proposition of building within an ecosystem
