I usually ask Claude Code to write entries to the md file but I also ask for a prompt to test the rule in a new session. Sometime the rules cc writes are not good enough

gemini cli is good. ampcode is very good and precise with changes.

but codex cli is very annoying to use. hopefully it will get usable.

I use Claude and Cursor in parallel. cursor is doing great on the ui, I took quick screenshots to instruct the changes I wanted and it got it right.
