I started using Cookie Auto Delete extension with Firefox. Now I just accept all and the extension takes care of removing the cookies as soon as I close the tab. Logging in again and again on the regular sites is not even an annoyance a with a password manager.

Can't recommend CodeRadio[0] enough for this purpose.

A number of packages provide webview, which can be used to render html pages.

These still aren't "production" ready yet though unfortunately e.g. they don't currently support keyboard input

Revive apprenticeships - where learner goes to master and learns directly from the one who practices the skill on a daily basis. In modern wold, this responsibility should rest on tech giants, who should have dedicated apprenticeship programs; and they should pay apprentices an honorarium for investing their time in studying their area of their, instead of their competitors.

For some reason, I don't know/understand, this responsibility got shifted to taxpayer.

That's a completely different thing. Purpose of school education is to nurture a human child into a member of society, who understands her rights and duties; posses the knowledge and tools to exercise her rights, and discharge her duties. University has nothing to do with this.

You joke but this is actually a growing sentiment. Schools across the USA are eliminating more and more liberal arts requirements as universities become more like glorified "coding bootcamps".

These aren’t exclusive. I agree with the your defined purpose with school. But my question stands about how a university of fellowship should distinguish students who did better than others.

I think there’s usefulness to some sort of statistically standardized test that is a good mix in to the many other factors that should be used- essays, activities, awards, interviews, referrals.

I think it’s bad when a test is given too much weight, but if we don’t have any standards with the goal of being objective then I fear only attractive people will get into the best colleges.

A very good way to understand the fact "class are for encapsulating behaviour, not data". But we don't learn until we fall.
