I've tried numerous times to run Ableton Live on Linux via Wine. No dice, ever. At this point I'm unwilling to get my hopes up. That's despite having even read accounts of others succeeding.

Fortunately Reaper turns out to be better for my purposes (largely microtonality) anyway.

Same for AutoCAD, won't even install, unfortunately. Lots of people could transition to Linux if it worked.

For some reason you can't install the Amazon Kindle App. I dunno what makes it so special, but it's installer won't even open the window for it...
